Florence sets a November whale commemoration
A documentary and an Old Town gathering are planned for November 14–15.
Florence’s 56th-anniversary exploding-whale commemoration will include a November 14 screening of “Oh Whale” at City Lights Cinemas, Coast Radio reports. The screening time is not yet confirmed here; check the cinema before planning around it.
The organizer lists the November 15 gathering at Bridgeport Market from noon, with awards at 2:30 p.m. and a toast at 3:45 p.m. Visitors are invited to contribute small objects to a communal art installation. This is advance planning for November, not an event this weekend.
