A steampunk machine joins Eugene Ballet's Shakespeare
Locally made machinery is part of the returning Taming of the Shrew.
An ornithopter is among the stage machinery in Eugene Ballet's returning Taming of the Shrew. Lookout's October 30 feature traces the custom steampunk additions to Eugene artist Joe Mross' Archive Designs studio and describes choreographer Toni Pimble's revisions to the production.
There is a remaining performance Sunday, November 1, at 2 p.m. in the Hult Center's Silva Concert Hall. Orchestra Next supplies live music. The venue's own event page confirms the Sunday schedule; check its ticketing page for availability and visit details.
