Yard-debris burning closes in three Lane County urban areas
The restriction covers Eugene, Springfield and Oakridge and their urban growth boundaries.
Fall yard-debris burning is closed in Eugene, Springfield and Oakridge and their urban growth boundaries, LRAPA's website confirms. KLCC reports that the seasonal closure began Saturday, October 31.
That is not a countywide permission or prohibition. Residents elsewhere in Lane County should check LRAPA's local burning rules before lighting a debris fire; the information line is 541-736-1056.
