Explore seasonal flower arranging in this hands-on class led by Ashely Gillis, proprietor of Eugene favorite Rhythm and Blooms. Participants will create their own unique flower arrangement in a glass vase while learning the fundamentals of floral design—how florists process fresh flowers so they last longer, how to build a sturdy base for your design from flowers alone, and the principles behind every good arrangement: line, form, color, space, and texture. All materials are provided, including the vase, and you will take your finished piece home in time for Thanksgiving.
