Renew or replace an Oregon driver license

Oregon driver-license online renewal has eligibility limits, including an office vision test for drivers age 65 or older.

Steps

3 steps
  1. Check online renewal eligibilityReview every online-renewal eligibility rule. You need a photo less than nine years old, must retain current photo/height/weight, and cannot switch to a first REAL ID online. Drivers 65 or older must visit an office for a vision test.
  2. Renew online or at an officeOnline renewal requires security and medical answers, residence evidence if your address changed in the last nine years, and payment. For an office renewal, make an appointment or use standby service and bring identity/address evidence and any required REAL ID documents.
  3. Replace a missing or damaged cardFor an online replacement, answer DMV’s security questions and pay the replacement fee. Keep the online receipt as driving-privilege proof; it may not be accepted as identification. The card is mailed and is not forwarded.
