CAHOOTS (Crisis Assistance Helping Out On The Streets) is a mobile crisis intervention program operated by White Bird Clinic. Teams of a medic and a crisis worker respond to behavioral health emergencies, welfare checks, and substance-related crises as an alternative to police response. As of April 2025, CAHOOTS services are available in Springfield only, after ending operations in Eugene.
