About This Service

Community Supported Shelters (CSS) is a Eugene-based nonprofit that pioneered the Conestoga Hut shelter model. CSS manages Safe Spot Communities — cost-effective intentional communities at scattered sites that provide unhoused individuals with shelter, safety, food, water, and restrooms. Stays range from 3 months to 2 years. Services: Conestoga hut shelters, Safe Spot Communities at scattered sites, Basic needs (food water restrooms), Community support, Shower access, Waitlist-based intake Clothing donations can be dropped off at 2870 W 10th Pl Tuesday-Thursday from 1:00-4:00pm.
