Community Supported Shelters (CSS) is a Eugene-based nonprofit that pioneered the Conestoga Hut shelter model. CSS manages Safe Spot Communities — cost-effective intentional communities at scattered sites that provide unhoused individuals with shelter, safety, food, water, and restrooms. Stays range from 3 months to 2 years.
