A 96-bed psychiatric hospital goes before the public Sept. 1
PeaceHealth's proposed Springfield hospital is under state review, and the next public meeting has a concrete time, place and accommodation deadline.
A proposed 96-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in Springfield reaches the public microphone Sept. 1. The meeting runs from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Springfield Utility Board boardroom at 223 A Street, Suite F.
PeaceHealth plans the hospital for International Way. Oregon's certificate-of-need program lists the application as under review; at the meeting, PeaceHealth is expected to summarize it before public comment. This is a proposal, not an approved hospital or a promise of future beds.
