LCC's STAR application closes tonight
The college-readiness program offers advising, tutoring and qualifying tuition support; its fall orientation runs September 14-17.
Sunday is the last day to apply for Lane Community College's Success Through Academic Readiness program for fall term. STAR is built for students entering below college-level writing or math, especially first-generation, low-income and underrepresented students.
Accepted students receive academic advising, tutoring and other support. Qualifying participants may also receive tuition waivers and textbooks. The required orientation runs September 14 through 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
The application is on LCC's official STAR page. This is a deadline, not an invitation to begin thinking about the deadline near midnight with seventeen browser tabs open.
