Cottage Grove’s Heritage Fair takes exhibits before it takes visitors
Flowers, vegetables, canned goods, photographs, baked goods and more can be entered from noon to 8 today or 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday.
The Western Oregon Exposition Heritage Fair opens Friday, but the fair's first deadline belongs to the people carrying jars, quilts and unusually respectable vegetables. Exhibit intake starts today from noon to 8 p.m. and continues Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The entry list includes flowers, produce, canned goods, photography, art, hobbies, baked goods and textiles. Youth categories can earn ribbons and cash prizes. The fair itself runs Aug. 21 through 23 at the Western Oregon Exposition grounds in Cottage Grove, with livestock and barn competitions, a logging show, live entertainment, bingo, gold panning, vendors and children's activities.
This is a standing organizer page rather than a newly timestamped announcement. It qualifies today because the exact 2026 intake window is now active. If an exhibit still needs glue to dry, Thursday remains available.
