The main office moved; the Access Center didn't
Community Supported Shelters consolidated several teams on West 10th Place while its West 11th navigation and outreach hub keeps operating.
Community Supported Shelters has a larger headquarters now, but people looking for navigation or outreach help should not assume every service moved with the desks. Administrative, operations, facilities and outreach teams have consolidated at 2870 W. 10th Place in Eugene.
The new office includes private rooms for meeting with clients, telehealth space and more storage for the food program. CSS lists main-office hours of 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday or by appointment. Its Street Outreach Office and Access Center at 1845 W. 11th Avenue continues partner, navigation and outreach work, with posted hours of 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The change does not create new shelter beds or a new eligibility promise. It does reduce some organizational shuffling and, ideally, some door-to-door confusion. A public open house at the new office is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Field notes
What changed: Community Supported Shelters moved its main office and consolidated teams while retaining its West 11th Access Center and outreach location.
Why it matters: People seeking help need the right door, and the new building adds private meeting, telehealth and storage space without replacing the service-navigation site.
Who may be affected: People seeking homelessness services, outreach partners, volunteers and donors.
