LTD's Sept. 6 reset reaches 18 routes
Every listed route gets new timepoints, while Route 12 changes to two-way service on Chad Drive; several route-level details are still hidden behind a shortened alert.
Lane Transit District has put 18 routes on notice for a fall service change taking effect Sunday, Sept. 6. The list reaches Routes 12, 13, 24, 28, 33, 36, 40, 51, 52, 55, 66, 67, 81, 82, 91, 95, 96 and 98. LTD says timepoints will change on all of them.
The clearest route change currently visible is on Route 12, which will begin two-way service on Chad Drive for more direct access to shopping and public services. LTD says the broader reset is meant to match ridership demand and improve operating efficiency.
The alert card truncates the remaining route-by-route details, and the page still links a Summer 2026 Rider's Guide. Riders should treat this as an early warning to recheck their own route, not as a complete schedule.
Field notes
What changed: LTD posted a Sept. 6 effective date and named 18 routes whose timepoints or paths will change for fall service.
Why it matters: A small timepoint change can be a missed transfer, especially on rural or lower-frequency routes.
Who may be affected: Riders on the 18 named Eugene, Springfield and rural Lane County routes.
