The three-clock road story leads because it changes what people may do today. LTD and the Clean Energy Fund outcome follow as a movement-and-decision pair. Florence, UO and Cottage Grove form a deadline timeline with three different consequences. The Highway 58 newsroom gets a full-width pause rather than being buried among briefs. The NAACP anniversary and Creswell movie create a community-weekend pair, and the airport studio closes on a fresh low-stakes idea before Paddle Addle. Every story appears once, adjacent shapes vary, and Paddle Addle is last.
Three road clocks
Three road closures, three clocks and one missing detour
Beltline ramps begin intermittent overnight closures tonight, Dean Avenue closes on weekdays, and Stagecoach Road has one final no-detour day near Swisshome.
Three closures are sharing Tuesday, but not the same clock. Starting tonight, the eastbound and westbound Beltline Exit 8 ramps at River Road and Exit 12 ramps at Coburg Road may close intermittently Sunday through Thursday between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. TripCheck lists Sept. 1 as the estimated finish. It does not say every ramp will be closed for that entire nightly window, and it does not post a detour.
At street level in Santa Clara, Dean Avenue closes fully where it meets the east side of River Road on weekdays through Sept. 9. The road is scheduled to reopen each weekend from Friday evening through Sunday night. Lane County lists River Loop 2 and Greenwood Street as alternate routes.
Farther west, Stagecoach Road near Swisshome closes between mileposts 6.6 and 9.7 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today for culvert installation. That notice contains the day's least decorative practical detail: there is no alternate route.
