Two county departures now have dates; one has a $275,318 agreement
The administrator is expected to stay through 2027, while commissioners approved an immediate county-counsel termination agreement.
Lane County commissioners approved separate employment agreements Tuesday that put dates and dollars around two senior departures. County Administrator Steve Mokrohisky is expected to remain through Dec. 31, 2027 under a contract amendment approved 4-0, with Commissioner David Loveall abstaining, according to Lookout Eugene-Springfield.
Commissioners also unanimously approved a termination agreement with County Counsel Rob Bovett. Lookout reported that the agreement provides the equivalent of one year's salary and the employer share of health insurance, valued at about $275,318. The item passed on the consent agenda without commissioner discussion.
The public record answers when the two jobs change hands, but not the full transition plan. The county's meeting page confirms the Aug. 25 session; the executed agreement and later hiring process will be the documents to watch.
