Monday is the last day of LTD's summer fares
The temporary $1 adult ride and $2 day pass remain posted through Aug. 31 across fixed-route service, with separate discounts on RideSource and several rural lines.

Monday is the final date printed on Lane Transit District's Dollar Days of Summer promotion. On neighborhood and EmX buses, the adult single ride is $1 instead of the page's listed $1.75 regular fare, and the adult day pass is $2 instead of $3.50. Youth and half-fare prices are also reduced through Aug. 31.
The promotion reaches beyond the main bus network. LTD's fare page lists temporary discounts for RideSource, Rhody Express, Diamond Express, LTD Connector and Rural Shuttle service, although payment methods and eligibility differ by service. A RideSource one-way trip, for example, is shown at $2 during the promotion.
The page does not separately announce the Sept. 1 transition. Riders traveling Tuesday should check LTD's live fare page before loading a wallet or buying a pass rather than assuming every crossed-out regular price has resumed unchanged.
Field notes
What changed: LTD's countywide summer fare promotion reaches its stated final day on Monday, Aug. 31.
Why it matters: The temporary prices cut several common fares nearly in half, so the amount riders should expect to pay may change after Monday.
Who may be affected: Fixed-route and EmX riders, plus people using RideSource, Rhody Express, Diamond Express, LTD Connector and Rural Shuttle service.
