4J plans a campus-wide e-moto ban; families should watch for its notice
The district says a family announcement is coming.
Eugene 4J plans to extend its e-moto ban across all campuses, district spokesperson Kelly McIver told KLCC. Cal Young and Spencer Butte middle schools already prohibit the vehicles.
McIver cited concerns about speed, helmets and students riding together. He said updated information would go to parents soon. The report does not give a district-wide effective date.
