Screamfield General Hospital opens Thursday at the history museum
Two scare levels make different evenings out of the museum's fundraiser.
Springfield History Museum becomes Screamfield General Hospital on October 22–24 and 29–31. Its gentler session runs 4–6 p.m.; the darker, louder version runs 6:30–8:30 p.m.
The organizer says visitors queue outside, so bring rain protection. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for ages 5–17; children under 5 enter free. Tickets are sold at the door. Proceeds support the museum, and a reading tent gives waiting families Halloween picture books to listen to.
