R.A.D. finds room for a permanent all-ages space
The volunteer-run punk nonprofit is building a home at 805 Lincoln.
After years of moving shows between borrowed venues, Radical Alternative Development has secured space in the 805 Lincoln building across from the WOW Hall, Eugene Weekly reports today.
Plans include a stage, a recording studio and room for hands-on projects such as sewing patches onto vests. The nonprofit will share the building with a planned late-night coffee lounge.
The space is still being renovated; this is not an opening announcement. The property's own website also says construction is underway and offers updates about future soft launches.
