Apply for a Florence special event or street closure

Florence requires applications for many events, parades, park use, street closures and noise variances; download the form and submit it.

  1. Download the right applicationForms listed: special event and park use, parade, street closure, and noise variance.
  2. Submit it at City Hall or by emailUse the drop box at City Hall (250 Hwy 101), or email the application to the Finance Department.
  3. Noise variances have their own pageIf you want a noise variance, use the Noise Variances page to submit that application.

    1. Use the Oregon ePermits systemGeneral contractors and others can apply for nearly all building permits through ePermits. Links to the system are on the city website.
    2. Pay fees onlineFees are assessed in the system and can be paid online with a credit card.
    3. Track your plan reviewPlan reviews and permit routing can be followed in the system, and the citizen access feature lets you request inspections.

    1. Find your license classCheck the list of license classes on the city website. If unsure, call Finance at 541-997-3436 or ask in person at City Hall.
    2. Have an email address readyAn email is required to apply, and all license correspondence is sent by email. City Hall can help you set one up.
    3. Create an account and apply onlineFollow the how-to packet. Home businesses also need a Home Occupation Application; food trucks need a Transient Merchant/Peddler application.
