Two mobile pantries roll into Cottage Grove and Eugene this week
FOOD For Lane County's public notice points to Wednesday in Cottage Grove and Friday at Sheldon Community Center.
FOOD For Lane County says its Mobile Pantry has two stops this week: Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Seventh and Whiteaker in Cottage Grove, and Friday, Aug. 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sheldon Community Center, 2445 Willakenzie Road in Eugene.
The organization's Facebook post was visible publicly Tuesday with only a relative age label. An Oregon community-partner distribution calendar independently lists the Cottage Grove stop on second and fourth Wednesdays and Sheldon on second Fridays, matching this week's dates. Bring bags.
Schedules can still change. Check FOOD For Lane County's current notice before making a special trip, especially if transportation is tight.
