This week's roadwork reaches two school routes and daytime Broadway
South Eugene High and Awbrey Park Elementary routes join a week in which Broadway work switches from nights to 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
The City of Eugene's weekly road report adds several changes that matter before school routines return. Work at South Eugene High School may close campus sidewalks, parking stalls and lawn areas; eastbound East 19th Avenue near Mill Street may also close, with a detour to East 18th.
Near Awbrey Park Elementary, Spring Creek Drive can drop to one lane while crews finish an ADA ramp and install traffic separators. On Broadway from Mill to Patterson, the work window has changed from nights to 7 a.m.-5 p.m. The existing single-lane pattern remains, with another lane closure on the southbound Coburg Road viaduct between Sixth and Eighth avenues.
