UO registration reopens at 10; drop-in advising follows at 1
Fall registration and waitlisting reopen Monday morning, with three afternoons of quick help for continuing College of Arts and Sciences students.
Two clocks matter for University of Oregon students today. Fall 2026 registration and waitlisting reopen at 10 a.m., according to the registrar's academic calendar. At 1 p.m., the College of Arts and Sciences begins a three-day block of drop-in advising for continuing students.
CAS lists in-person and virtual drop-in help from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 24-26. Its front desk can also help students connect with an advisor through Microsoft Teams or by phone.
The calendars do not say that a particular course has an open seat or that a waitlist will move. Students should check their own registration account and use advising for quick registration questions rather than treating the reopening as a seat guarantee.
Field notes
What changed: Fall registration and waitlisting reopen at 10 a.m. Monday, followed by a short Aug. 24-26 CAS drop-in advising window.
Why it matters: Course availability can move quickly when registration reopens, and a narrow advising window gives continuing students a place to resolve immediate questions.
Who may be affected: UO students registering or waitlisting for fall, especially continuing College of Arts and Sciences students.
