Zone 4 All gives Eugene's non-juried artists the whole gallery Friday
New Zone’s open show fills October with community work; the free reception runs 5:30–7:30 p.m. at 110 East 11th Avenue.
No jury, no membership, no velvet rope. New Zone Gallery opens Zone 4 All on Friday with work from artists across the community, continuing its tradition of putting established members and first-time exhibitors on the same walls for a month.
The free reception runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. October 2 during First Friday at 110 East 11th Avenue. The show accepts original two- and three-dimensional work and bars art created with AI; artists receive 65% when a piece sells. The intake deadline has passed, so Friday is for seeing the work rather than trying to slip one more canvas through the door.
Field notes
What changed: New Zone's annual non-juried community exhibition opens to the public October 2 and fills the gallery through October.
Why it matters: The format removes juror and membership gates, giving a broad group of local artists a public wall and a sales opportunity.
Who may be affected: Local artists, First Friday visitors and people looking for an accessible introduction to Eugene's gallery scene.
