Bells, sticks and a Monday practice with Two Rivers Morris
The local dance team asks curious visitors to contact it before attending.
Tatters, bells and clashing sticks are part of Two Rivers Morris’s border-style dancing. The Eugene Folklore Society calendar lists the team’s Monday, October 26 practice for 6:15–8:15 p.m. at Eugene Garden Club, 1645 High Street.
The group’s musicians play fiddle, mandolin, accordion, tin whistle and percussion. Its invitation includes people interested in trying the dancing or exploring the music, but there is one practical step first: contact the team through the society before coming to practice.
