Oregon voter registration closes tonight for November 3 election
New voters have until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Tuesday to register online; ballots begin mailing Wednesday.
There is still time to get on the voter rolls for November 3, but not much. Oregon's registration deadline is Tuesday, October 13. Online registrations must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Pacific, according to the Secretary of State. Registration cards mailed on paper must be postmarked by October 13.
Ballots begin going out Wednesday, October 14. Voters can check their registration and find the official registration process through the Secretary of State. In Lane County, the ballot includes statewide contests and local offices and measures. People who are already registered can check that their information is current before ballots arrive.
