Creating or claiming an organization

Request a reviewed LaneHelp organization page in three steps: identify the organization, show the connection, and send it for human review.

What this does

The organization request flow lets a signed-in person claim an existing organization, request a new page, or suggest an organization for LaneHelp review.

When to use it

Use it when your organization needs an official LaneHelp presence or an existing page needs an authorized owner.

What you need

A LaneHelp account plus a work email, official website, staff page, government listing, or other public evidence that helps LaneHelp verify the connection.

Organization → Verification → Review

  1. Choose the request type

Search for an existing page before creating another. Choose claim, new organization, or suggestion based on what already exists.

  2. Show the connection

Add a work email or official website and any useful supporting public link. Email access is evidence, not automatic authority.

  3. Review the request

Confirm the organization name, request type, verification path, and explanation before sending.

  4. Track human review

Account → Organizations shows the request, work-email verification, moderation result, and options to update or withdraw it.

  5. Set up the approved page

The first approved representative for a new organization becomes Owner. Existing organizations add approved representatives without silently replacing the current Owner.

After approval, use Organization profiles, roles, and flair for page editing, team invitations, ownership, posts, flair, and linked-service boundaries.

Common questions

Does verifying a work email approve the page?

No. It confirms access to the mailbox; LaneHelp still reviews authority, duplicates, impersonation risk, and the organization connection.

What if our organization already appears as a resource?

Claim or request the organization page, then LaneHelp can connect the reviewed page to existing directory listings.
