The Map shows LaneHelp on a map of Lane County: services, shelters, restrooms, buses, rentals, events, and public calls. Turn on what you need, tap a pin for details, and plan a trip from there.

The buttons along the map#

| Rentals (Rent on phones) | Rental leads, with a Max rent setting. |
| Events | Local events, by category. |
| Response (Calls on phones) | Public fire and police calls from the last 6, 12, or 24 hours. |
| Views | Map, 3D, Pulse, or 3D/Pulse, plus a Heatmap. |
Tap a pin#
A pin opens a short card with the address and, when there is one, a phone number to call. Open record goes to the full listing. The details panel can also offer Get directions, Add to trip, and, for a bus stop, upcoming Arrivals. A pin marks a place, not whether it’s open, so check the hours.
For shelter beds, the Shelter page has the latest reports. Use the map to see where places are, then check Shelter before you go.
Live buses and restrooms#
Open Transit and switch on Live buses to watch LTD buses move when real-time data is available. Bus routes and Bus stops draw the network. Under Resources, Restrooms / Bathrooms adds restroom locations. Access details vary, so check before you count on one.
Plan a trip on the map#
Trip asks for a start (Current location or address) and a destination (Address, place, stop, or resource). Pick Bus, Walk, Bike, or Drive, and set a time if you like. When a route comes back, Easy Route makes it a handout you can print or send. For a quick bus-only plan, Route is simpler.
If the map asks for your location#
The map asks only when you tap something that needs it, like a location button or starting a trip from where you are. Say no and type an address instead. You can change your answer later in your browser’s settings for this site.
