- What it does
- A short form attached to a listing: pick what looks wrong, add a note or proof if you have it, and send.
- Good for
- When you can tell something’s off but don’t have the corrected details. If you do, fix the listing instead.
- You’ll need
- A free account. Only the issue type is required, unless you pick Other.
Send a report#
Find the button
On a listing page, tap Report Issue in the Community Contributions panel. On a directory card, it’s Report issue under More.
Pick what looks wrong
Choose one: Duplicate, Closed, Wrong hours, Wrong phone, Moved, or Other.
Add a note or proof, if you have it
Open Add a note or proof for a Public note, a Note for moderation, a Source link, and checkboxes for Checked by call, Checked in person, and Checked website. Picking Other makes the note for moderation required.
Send it
Tap Send report. You’ll see “Issue report submitted for community review.”
Back up someone else’s report#
Open issues appear in the listing’s Community Contributions panel, with counts of reporters, checks, and evidence. If you can confirm one, tap Check Info and pick what you found, like “Called — number works” or “Visited — closed.” You can’t check an issue you reported yourself, which seems fair.
What happens next#
A report is a signal, not an edit. Moderators review it, and the listing only changes if they confirm the problem. Directory cards can show where a report stands: Reported, Under review, Likely issue, Resolved, or Dismissed. Your own reports are under Activity in your account.
