Finding events
Use LaneHelp’s calendar, agenda, map, and meeting views to find upcoming activities while keeping source and location confidence visible.
What this does
The Events page combines upcoming Lane County events, civic gatherings, job fairs, training, family activities, recurring services, and recovery-meeting finders.
When to use it
Use it to find something happening today, this week, online, in a specific city, or around a specific topic.
What you need
Nothing to browse. Event details can change, so open the source before traveling or registering.
Choose a view
- Agenda groups what is happening today and coming up.
- Calendar places verified dated events into a month grid.
- Map shows events with usable public coordinates.
- Meetings points to recovery and support meeting finders and the full Meetings page.
Search and filters cover timeframe, city, category, free events, online or in-person attendance, family-friendly activities, mapped locations, recurring food or clothing hours, and recovery programs. Low-confidence locations stay hidden unless you deliberately include them.
Print, share, and submit
Agenda results can be printed or shared. Event cards link to their public sources. Use the event submission path when a community event, class, or meeting is missing; LaneHelp reviews it before publication.
Common questions
Why is an event missing from the map?
The record may be online, may not have a public location, or may have location data that is not confident enough to map safely.
Can I submit an event?
Yes. Use the submission control on the Events page; the event is reviewed before appearing publicly.
