Events is Lane County’s community calendar: music, markets, classes, public meetings, support groups, and more. Browse by day, place, or topic, and send in your own event for review.

What it does
A countywide calendar you can read as a list, a month grid, or a map.

Find something to do#

Start with the quick filters: Today, Tomorrow, or Weekend, plus Free and Family. Pick a category if you know what you’re after, or type in Search events or venues. On a phone, tap Filters for more, including Online, In person, LGBTQIA+, ASL / access, and city.

In a hurry? Events today and This weekend are ready-made lists.

Switch the view#

  • List shows event cards. A repeating event appears once, with a note like “+3 more dates.”
  • Calendar lays events out on a month grid.
  • Map shows events that have a mapped location. Tap a marker for details.
  • Meetings points to recovery and support meetings. The full schedule is on Meetings.

More filters adds topics like Free food, Public meetings, Jobs, and Music. It also lets you opt in to Food & pantry hours and Clothing hours, which stay off unless you ask. Events with a shaky location are hidden by default. Turn on Include unconfirmed locations if you’d rather see everything.

Save it, share it, add it to your calendar#

Open an event for the full picture: cost, place, Listing sources, and any Schedule note. From there you can Save it, Share it, Print this event, or add it to Google Calendar, Outlook, or any calendar app with Download .ics. Spot a mistake? Tap Report incorrect info.

Submit an event#

  1. Open the form

    Tap Submit an event on the Events page, or go straight to the submission form. No account needed.

  2. Fill in the basics

    Add a title, category, description, date and start time, venue, and city. Cost, a link, and a flyer image under 6 MB are optional.

  3. Leave a way to reach you

    Your name, email, and phone go only to LaneHelp’s review team. They are never published.

  4. Send it

    Tap Submit event for review. It shows up on the calendar once someone has reviewed it.

Questions people ask

Do I need an account to submit an event?
No. Fill in the form and LaneHelp reviews it before it goes on the calendar.
Why isn’t an event on the map?
It may be online only, or its location isn’t confirmed. Turn on Include unconfirmed locations under More filters to see more.
Will my saved events follow me to another device?
No. Saving keeps an event on this device only. Use Add to calendar if you need it everywhere.
