Add a missing place
Know a Lane County service that isn’t on LaneHelp? The Add a resource form walks you through seven short steps, checks for duplicates, and sends it to a person for review.

- What it does
- A seven-step form for proposing a new listing: name, category, description, how to reach it, tags, a note for reviewers, and a final check.
- Good for
- When you’ve searched and the place really isn’t there.
- You’ll need
- A free account, the name, a sentence about what it does, and a short note on how you know. Missing details are fine if you say so.

Make sure it’s really missing#
Search Resources first, including other spellings. The quickest check is in the directory tools: choose Add/fix (or Help on a phone), pick Add missing, and type the name. Matches show Already listed. If nothing fits, tap Still missing? Add it.
The seven steps#
Resource name
The name people would recognize from a sign, website, or flyer. LaneHelp starts looking for similar listings as you type.
Suggested category
Pick the closest fit. Reviewers can adjust it later.
What does it do?
One clear sentence about what it offers, at least 20 characters. More detail is optional.
How can people reach it?
Pick what you know: website, phone, address, hours, Online only / no address, or I’m missing some of this. For an address, choose how it should show, including Approximate area or Confidential location when an exact address would put people at risk.
Helpful tags
Choose the tags that match, or suggest one under Add your own tags.
Anything reviewers should know?
Required. Say how you know about the place and whether you’re connected to it. You can also leave an email or phone in case a moderator has questions.
Review and submit
Check the summary, then tap Submit resource.
If LaneHelp finds a possible duplicate#
The last step lists Possible matches. If one is the same place, open it and suggest an update instead. If yours really is different, check This is still a separate resource and explain under Why is it different? A separate program, office, or service at the same organization counts.
