What’s on the page#

  • If there is immediate danger — when to call 911.
  • Crisis lines — 988, the Lane County Crisis Line, White Bird, CAHOOTS through Springfield police non-emergency dispatch, the Child Crisis Response Team, the Trevor Project for LGBTQ+ youth, and Hope & Safety Alliance.
  • Useful addresses — White Bird Crisis Services, Eugene Mission, River Avenue Navigation Center, Looking Glass Station 7 for youth, Hope & Safety Alliance, and Siuslaw Outreach Services in Florence.
  • Basic-needs reminders — what to bring, what to ask a shelter before you go, and a safety note for anyone leaving violence.

You’ll find it in the Menu under Tools & guides.

Keep it on your phone#

  1. Open LaneHelp once with a signal

Your web browser saves a copy of Quick Help in the background, and refreshes it whenever you visit online.

  2. Make it easy to find

Bookmark it, or add it to your home screen from your browser’s menu, so you aren’t hunting for it later.

  3. If LaneHelp won’t load

You may see a “You’re offline” page. Its Quick Help (works offline) button opens the saved copy.

Questions people ask

Does Quick Help work with no signal?
Usually, in a web browser, as long as you’ve opened LaneHelp before with a connection. Phone calls go over your phone service, not the internet.
Is this every crisis service in the county?
No. It’s a short starting list. For more, search Resources or ask Paddle.
Are the hours guaranteed?
No. Some lines note their own coverage. White Bird, for example, lists weekday daytime phone hours. Call first when you can.
