Type what you need the way you’d say it out loud. “Food today,” “family shelter Springfield,” or a program’s name all go in the same box.

Search, then narrow it down#

  1. Search in plain words

Use the Search directory resources box at the top.

  2. Open Directory tools

The Directory tools bar holds Area, Category, Tags, and Sort. A small dot marks any filter that’s on, and Clear all resets everything.

  3. Pick an area

Choose a town, or Nearby to see what’s close. Nearby asks for your location; if you’d rather not, type a street or neighborhood into search.

  4. Sort if freshness matters

Sort offers Best match, Recently checked, and Review first. Recently checked puts the freshest listings on top.

Read a card#

  • Phone, email, and website: tap to call, write, or open the site.
  • Address: tap it to open the place in Google Maps.
  • Hours: shown when the listing has them. “Hours not listed” means call first.
  • Small tags like Open today, Hours unknown, or Call ahead explain how a result fits your search.
  • A check mark means the organization manages its own listing.
  • Update, Save, Share, and a three-dot menu with Report issue.

Save, compare, and switch views#

Save keeps a listing on this device, no account needed; sign in and saved listings follow you to other devices. Find them under Saved resources. Turn on Compare mode and tap two cards to read them side by side. Rolodex shows the same results as big, quick cards with buttons to call, get directions, or add the place to a Quick Sheet.

Shortcuts by need and by town#

Below the results, Popular Lane County resource searches links to focused pages for shelter, food, medical care, mental health, recovery, detox, and crisis help. Resources by city covers Eugene, Springfield, Florence, Cottage Grove, Creswell, Veneta, Junction City, and Oakridge.

Find preschool with Preschool Match#

Preschool Match compares official 2026–27 Preschool Promise, Head Start, and Early Head Start sites. It asks a few short questions, like the child’s age and how you’d get there, and you can skip any of them. Answers stay in your browser tab. You get a shortlist to share or print. It can’t see open seats, and the programs decide who qualifies.

If the list isn’t helping#

Questions people ask

How do I find preschool?
Use Preschool Match. Answer what you can, skip the rest, and you’ll get a shortlist of official programs to contact.
Does the top result mean the best service?
No. The order is LaneHelp’s best guess at what fits your words. It isn’t a rating of the place.
