Finding a listing
- Compare city, rent, deposit, room type, move-in timing, pets, smoking, accessibility, parking, household size, and house rules.
- Open the full listing before contacting anyone. Public listings use city-level location; exact private details belong in careful direct conversation, not the public post.
- Save useful listings to your account, and report filled, misleading, discriminatory, unsafe, or suspicious posts.
Listing available space
Signed-in members can create and manage listings. LaneHelp may hold questionable language for moderation, and listings must follow fair-housing rules. Describe neutral housing facts and compatibility—not protected characteristics.
Common questions
Does LaneHelp verify the room or owner?
No. Treat the listing as a starting point and independently verify the person, property, costs, rules, and written agreement.
Why does a listing show only the city?
The public exchange is city-level by design. Do not publish a private address, ID image, banking details, or other sensitive information.
