For organizations
Run a nonprofit, agency, clinic, shelter, or community project? An organization page gives you one public link on LaneHelp, a team, and tools to keep your updates, listings, and bed counts current.

- What it does
- How to create or claim your organization’s page, what you can do once you’re approved, and where the lines are.
- Good for
- If you represent an organization in Lane County, or know one that belongs here.
- You’ll need
- Nothing to browse pages. To request one: a free account and a website, work email, or public link that shows your connection.
A listing describes one service. An organization page describes you: who you are, how to reach you, what you’re posting, and which listings are yours. Approved pages live at a short address like lanehelp.com/your-name, and the full set is in the Organization directory.
Create or claim a page#
Sign in and choose what you need
The form needs an account. Pick Claim an existing organization if your page is already here, Create a new organization if it isn’t, or Suggest an organization if you know one but don’t represent it.
Identify the organization
Search for it, or type its name and pick a type. LaneHelp shows close matches so you don’t create a duplicate, and previews your public address.
Show your connection
Add a Work email, an Official website, or a Supporting proof link, plus a sentence or two about what you do. At least one website or proof link is required. The request doesn’t publish your work email.
Send for review
Tap Send for review. Track it under Organizations in your account, where you can verify your work email with a code, update the request, or withdraw it.
Once you’re approved#
Your tools live in Org Mode. From there you can:
- Post an update — hours today, a closure, or an announcement. You see a preview first, choose who can see it, and set when it expires.
- Bed status — for organizations confirmed for a shelter. Enter available beds, intake (open, waitlist, or closed), and notes. It shows on the live shelter page right away.
- Linked resources — request changes to directory listings tied to you. The public listing stays the same until LaneHelp approves them.
- Team — invite teammates and choose roles, so the page doesn’t depend on one person’s login.
- Page details — edit your public page, print a flyer version, set up affiliation flair, and export your data or ask for a correction.
