The search box is great when you know the words. These are for when you don’t. Find them on the home page under More ways to search. They all draw from the same listings as Resources, just served differently.

Which one fits#

  • You want a surpriseRoll a Lane pulls one random listing.
  • You want a few good suggestionsPick a Lane deals three cards to flip.
  • You want to flip through listings fastRolodex shows quick cards with Call and Directions buttons.
  • You know the logo but not the nameLogo Book lets you browse organizations by sight.
  • You want to explore related servicesPulse connects directory listings through shared service tags and categories.

Roll a Lane#

Tap Roll a Lane and LaneHelp pulls one random resource from the directory. Then choose Open resource, Add to deck, or Roll again. It’s a low-stakes way to learn what exists before you need it.

Pick a Lane#

Pick a Lane deals three suggested resources face down. Flip a card to reveal it, then pick Enter this Lane to open it, Add to Deck to keep it, or Draw again for a fresh spread. If you’ve searched or opened listings on this device lately, the cards lean toward those topics.

Your deck holds up to three cards and is saved in this browser, not your account. Add a fourth and the oldest one steps aside.

Rolodex#

Rolodex turns the directory into a stack of fast cards. Each one has Call, Directions, Add (to a Quick Sheet), and More for the full listing. On a keyboard, press the down arrow or j for the next card, and the up arrow or k to go back. In Resources, switch between List and Rolodex any time.

Logo Book and Pulse#

Logo Book lays out Lane County organizations by their logos, for when you remember the picture on the van but not the name on the door. Pulse lets you search directory listings and explore their shared service tags and categories. Each has its own guide: Logo Book and Pulse.

Questions people ask

Are these separate directories?
No. All five read from the same LaneHelp listings. They’re different doors into the same building.
How does Pick a Lane choose cards?
It looks at what you’ve recently searched and opened on this device. Clearing your browser’s site data starts it fresh.
Where did my deck go?
The deck lives in one browser. A different phone, a private window, or cleared browser data starts with an empty deck.
